Dawit D-Tour is a subsidiary of among others Desalegn Hotels, Desalegn Hotel Apartments, Desalegn Resort and Desalegn Real-estate holding company which is located in Bole, Addis Ababa was established in 2021 to provide extensive tour, travel and excursion packages to clients within Ethiopia and beyond.
Because we recognized the growing global needs and demands to the travel and tourism industry, we set out to accomplish two main business goals:
Desalign Hotel and Resort
- First, because the tourism sector in Ethiopia has been growing 10% annually for the last decade, we recognize the opportunity to invest substantial resources and assume a dominant role in the market.
- Second, because we also understood there are fewer travel agents that could provide upscale travel packages to clients that also own and operate their own properties in our case Desalegn Resort could be a game changer.
Our Objectives
- To build in our already thriving hotel business a service that can expand to reach the over a million adventure travelers and culture and knowledge seekers.
- Capturing over 20% market share of tour and travel business the first three years.
Mission
Not only to attract and maintain new tour and travel customers to Ethiopia but also to providing incentives for the existing Desalegn Hotels customers who are in Addis for business trips.
